O PRIMEIRO DESENHO
Os desenhos e a exploração dos territórios estão intimamente ligados para mim, das viagem não relatadas pelo traço e cor, sobra pouco mais de uma sombra sem a profundidade temporal que só o desenho garante. Considero o primeiro traço de um caderno sempre o mais importante, pois geralmente é ele que vai organizar tudo o que vem em seguida, mesmo que a sequência seja aleatória como acontece muitas vezes, em paralelo com as coleções reconhecíveis que se impõe ao longo das travessias.
Sobre os desenhos que servem às poéticas outras, tampouco podem ser subestimados. Por trás de toda linha se esconde uma potência de transformação.
/ THE FIRST DRAWING: For me, awings and the exploration of territories are closely connected, from the trips not reported by the line and color, there is little more than a shadow left without the temporal depth that only the drawing guarantees. I consider the first line of a notebook always the most important, as it is usually the one that will organize everything that follows, even if the sequence is random as it often happens, in parallel with the recognazible collections that are imposed along the crossings. Of the drawings that serve other poetics, they cannot be underestimated neither. Behind every line hides a power of transformation. /
